The Pierhead Tavern is in the heart of Lamlash, Arran, which overlooks the Holy Island.
As a local friendly family run business, we offer a traditional bar/restaurant open all year round.
We are renowned for our homemade food, and are well known for our fresh Haddock which is locally sourced, as well as our mummy’s own special homemade steak pie, topped with short crust pastry, and most commonly known for our homemade chips.
All our menus are based on hearty traditional British food, and we pride ourselves on outstanding food and quality of service. We are also able to offer an extensive evening menu, snacks and take away menus to suit the occasion.
Why not enjoy a Sunday roast on our decking canopy, or tucked away in our cosy restaurant which seats 28, and enjoy our entertainment which includes pool table, darts, and we also host a number of evening entertainment events through-out the season which include bands and disco’s.

Our bar is a very traditional bar with a great selection of drinks including local ales and malt whiskies.

Our major weekly event is our PHT quiz which we hold every Sunday (general knowledge based) and starts at 9.30pm.
We have a snacks menu and basket meal menu available in the bar area or you can enjoy your meal outside.

We do a daily roast dinner usually pork beef lamb and chicken very popular on a Sunday.
